MissingTools offers optional GitHub sign-in. An account allows you to leave comments and submit ideas linked to your profile. Anonymous use (browsing, voting, submitting ideas) is available without an account.

• You must have a valid GitHub account to sign in
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Do not share your session or credentials with others
• You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us

You agree not to submit, post, or transmit content that:

• Is Illegal: Violates any local, state, national, or international law
• Is Abusive: Harasses, threatens, defames, or disparages any person or group
• Is Spam: Repetitive, unsolicited, or promotional content
• Contains Malware: Viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious code
• Is Fraudulent: Misleading claims, scams, or deceptive practices
• Violates Privacy: Personal information of others without consent
• Is Offensive: Sexually explicit, discriminatory, or hateful content
• Is Off-Topic: Content unrelated to missing tools, app ideas, or platform purpose
• Infringes Rights: Copyright, trademark, patent, or trade secret violations

By using MissingTools, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms
• You will not submit confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information
• You are responsible for your own submissions and comments and any consequences arising from them
• You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
• You understand your submissions become part of our permanent public archive
• You will not use the Platform to interfere with or disrupt its normal operation

We reserve the right to review, moderate, and remove any content that violates these Terms. We may also:

• Remove content that violates these Terms at any time without notice
• Restrict or disable accounts showing abuse patterns
• Ban IP addresses associated with repeated violations
• Cooperate with law enforcement for illegal activity

Use the report button on any idea to flag policy-violating content. We will review reports and take appropriate action.

• Anonymous users: one vote per idea per browser (tracked via cookie)
• Signed-in users: one vote per idea per account
• You agree not to manipulate votes through bots, automation, or artificial methods
• Vote manipulation may result in account suspension or IP restrictions

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• MissingTools is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for user-generated content or third-party actions
• We are not liable for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

In no event shall our total liability exceed $100 or the amount you paid for the service (if any).

MissingTools respects intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without permission, contact us with the identification of the copyrighted work, its location on our Platform, and your contact information. We will investigate and remove infringing content if verified.

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Platform if you:

• Violate these Terms or our policies
• Engage in abusive, spam, or illegal behavior
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Circumvent security measures or rate limits

Termination may be immediate and without notice. You may appeal restrictions via our contact email.
